So far I have found Costa Rica to be very safe and I feel completely comfortable being here alone as a female. AND, every family member I had tried to talk me out of coming. I am glad I trusted my gut and did not give in to fear.

I had a chance to swim in my first waterfall yesterday in Costa Rica! It was both magical and slippery! I fell right on my butt once I got under the flowing water. The rocks were filled with rich green moss.

Truth: I almost did not include this picture because I did not like the way my stomach looked. I put on a little weight preparing for this trip. Stress eating is my jam.
